In the context of the energy saving project SCOTIA BANK - DOMINET , was scheduled before the start of peak hours ( which restricts the use of equipment at times when energy is more expensive ) , re- program their equipment maintenance and improvements will be made right . SCOTIABANK has 300 branches throughout the country and through a program of energy improvements have been incorporated over 100 branches to energy efficiency project .
The average monthly savings generated by the project on account of improvements tariff was USD 17.000 a month, which increased to over USD26.000. Additionally the savings impact on energy savings and double the savings rate for projecting an annual savings of U$D 624.000 per year, compared to U$D 408.000 in 2013 and thus causing a reduction in annual emissions equivalent to 900 ton CO2.During the year the savings will expand coverage and today is controlled and verified monthly by the ENERGY ACCOUNTING ONLINE, an innovative tool created by DOMINET through www.cuentaOK.cl system
